Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio

Rene Marie Russo was an American actor, filmmaker and supermodel. Alongside her stunning beauty, her continued success in the highly competitive world of film can be attributed to her talents as a performer. Her career began with a modeling job in the year 1970 then she rose quickly to the top of the heap. She studied theatre and acting towards the beginning of the decade. She then appeared on stage at Los Angeles, and other regions of California. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1988 drama Sable in which she was Eden Kendell. She was Tom Berengers' love interest two years later on Major League, her debut film. The consistency of her performance has won over critics who were initially hesitant about her abilities as an actress. The critics loved her most in the film Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she defended her ground in the face of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. Her admission to acting hasn't been her thing. In 2005, she took to a break, which was her own decision. For the film Thor, she returned to her acting. She also appeared in Nightcrawler the film that her husband received the Oscar for. The Intern followed, as did Just Getting Started.
